Brooks L. Sanderson Jr. is the founder and principal of Stratos Federal Solutions, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. A Marine Corps veteran and retired U.S. Navy Civil Engineer Corps officer, he has spent more than 20 years leading construction, operations and maintenance, and logistics for federal agencies in the United States and overseas.

In the Navy he led engineering and construction organizations, heavy equipment and fleet operations, and installation facilities programs — including expeditionary construction abroad and major construction and BOS portfolios ashore. After leaving uniform he continued that work as a program and operations leader on large federal contracts, running multi-installation base operations, construction, and logistics efforts with more than 800 people and program value above $750 million.

That path includes standing up new work, taking over existing programs, and keeping facilities and logistics moving for customers who cannot afford downtime. He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Mississippi, is completing an MBA, and holds Level II government contracting credentials.
